We bought this Blu Ray DVD player primarily for longer journeys in the car. We bought a holder separately.
First impression, processing and commissioning
After I unpacked the DVD player, the first thing I thought was Bow was light. But the device seems well made and is really very light. The hinge seems stable. Commissioning is very simple: plug in the power supply, insert the DVD and switch on. You can now navigate through the DVD menu using the controls on the device.

The DVD player plays DVDs (including series DVDs) and films (AVI) from the SD card without any problems. In my first test, I stopped the time and got a running time of 5:05 hours when playing the DVD, but I had muted the sound. This means that when playing from an SD card, the playback time will probably be even longer because no motor needs to be driven.
I find the audio volume to be completely sufficient and the device runs very quietly. (But maybe this varies from device to device).
The operation is very simple, comparable to a normal DVD player. The image quality is ok. We've watched a children's DVD with it so far and it worked without any problems.
The remote control also works perfectly.
We are particularly excited about the pivoting screen. This can be easily rotated as needed. So if the sun is bad in the car, you can use the DVD player without the holder on your lap.
Conclusion: That's why it's worth buying, not only do you have a portable DVD player, but you also have it as a headrest in the car, so the car journey definitely won't be boring.
So far we are very satisfied with the Blu-ray player from NAVISKAUTO. I've used it a few times now on car trips and can only report positively about it.
