If the Blu-Ray player cannot read the disc or other problems, many of them are caused by system software errors. This can of course be remedied with a firmware upgrade.
Step 1: Download the firmware. However, you must send an email to Pumpkin customer service to receive the link of the firmware. (Note: Please send the Blu-ray player order number to customer service.)
Step 2: After downloading, unzip the file.
Step 3: Copy the "UPG_ALL" folder to the USB stick. (Note: Make sure the "UPG_ALL" folder is in the USB root directory.)
Step 4: Insert the USB flash drive into the player and press the SETUP button to enter System->Upgrade->USB Storage. The player will then automatically update. (Note: Please do not turn off or unplug the USB flash drive during the upgrade process.)
If the player does not recognize the software and upgrade after inserting the USB flash drive, format the USB flash drive into FAT32 and repeat steps 1 to 4.
